The quarterly Men’s Luncheon at the Trenton United Methodist Church is scheduled for Friday at noon with all local businessman invited to attend.
The speaker will be Joe Novenson, Senior Teach Pastor at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church on Lookout Mountain.
Novenson has a BA in Speech Communication from Rider College, Master of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary and study in Barthian Theology with Dr. F. Dale Bruner at Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington.
Novenson has also served as Pastor of North Shore Fellowship in Chattanooga, Senior Pastor of Lexington Presbyterian Church in Lexington, S. C., and assistant pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Augusta.
In addition, Novenson regularly speaks at various Missionary Conferences in such places as Belarus, India and Haiti. He also regularly speaks at youth retreats and summer conferences as well as World Mission Conferences at various churches.
He is also the author of articles for Tabletalk and World Magazine and was a contributing author for books honoring Dr. Ed Clowney and Dr. Clair Davis.
Novenson and his wife Barbara live on Lookout Mountain and have three children and three grandchildren.
