The Dade County Lady Wolverines traveled to Model last week to face the Lady Blue Devils for the second time this season. In the first meeting the Lady Blue Devils dominated the game and came away with an easy victory on the Lady Wolverines’ home court.

This time the Lady Wolverines came to play and took an early lead. At the end of the first quarter Dade was on top 11-6.

While Model rallied back in the second quarter the Lady Wolverines held a one point lead, 19-18 at the end of the first half.

The third quarter saw the Lady Wolverines continue to play hard and add to their lead, heading into the final eight minutes Dade was up 30-26.

The fourth quarter turned a hard fought game into a disaster for the Lady Wolverines. The four point lead was quickly gone and the Lady Wolverines couldn’t find the basket as the Lady Blue Devils rallied for a 43-33 win.

The Lady Wolverines hosted the Armuchee Lady Indians on Friday night looking to turn things around after struggling in the last few games.

They came out playing hard, especially on the defensive end of the court, but still found themselves trailing by a point at the end of the first quarter, 8-7.

In the second quarter the Lady Wolverines began to find their shooting range and outscored Model 14-11 to take the lead at the end of the first half 21-19.
