Boy Scouting is for boys in the sixth through 12th grades, ages 11 to 17, while Cub Scouting is for boys in the first through fifth grade, ages 6 to 10. There are three Boy Scout troops that meet in both the Trenton and New Salem communities, and the Cub Scouts have three packs that meet in the Davis, New Salem and Trenton communities.
