My name is Ronnie Page and I am pleased to announce my candidacy for District 3 School Board in the upcoming election this November.
I am 49 years old and have been a lifelong resident of Dade County and Trenton, and I am employed by the City of Trenton as Director of Parks and Recreation and the Animal Control Officer.
I graduated from Northwest Georgia High School and I am the son of Ruth Page.
I will be running for the school board seat being vacated by Terry Pettus and would consider it an honor to follow in Pettus’ footsteps. With the changing environment in the business of education, I believe that we must elect people who can see the broad scope of education. We must elect people who are willing to make the tough decisions and to assist the superintendent in helping to manage the business side of education.
Much progress has been made within the school system in recent years and I want to help that progress move forward. While I have been a strong supporter of athletics at Dade High School for many years, I also understand the success of our students begins in the classroom, and I hope to support all areas of our school system here in the county.
If elected, I will commit myself to make sure that we provide the best resources for teachers, administrators, sports and all extracurricular aspects of the school system. We get only one shot at giving our students the best, and they deserve nothing less. I want only the best for all students, and I am sure that I can be a positive addition to our school board.
Please look for the name Ronnie Page on the Republican ballot in July and then again in November. I will serve you at the highest level and do everything possible to make sure that we can manage your tax dollars as best as humanly possible and give our kids the best they can get.
Thank you in advance for your support and your vote.
