My name is David Swader and I wish to announce my candidacy for Dade County School Board District 5 At–Large seat in the 2008 election.
My wife, Dannette, and I are residents of the Wildwood community and have lived in Dade County for 34 years. We have four children Brodie, Seth, Brett and BreAnna.
I am a graduate of Northwest Georgia High School and Covenant College where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education.
During my 34 years in Dade County I have served as a paraprofessional for three years at Dade Elementary School, an assistant coach at Dade County High School for six years and as a volunteer in the local recreational leagues for 15 years. It has been an honor to serve the children and people of this community.
With your prayers, support and vote I look forward to serving our children, teachers and staff as District 5 At–Large School Board Member.
