ONLINE UPDATE
On Wednesday, May 07 at approximately 1100 hours Dade County detectives received information that there was a subject in Dade County with felony warrants out of Hoke County, North Carolina. Dade County detectives contacted the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office to obtain further information and copies of the warrants.
At approximately 1300 hours Trenton Police Department Sergeant Todd Gann, Dade County detectives and deputies affected the arrest of Jessie Kane Locklear for the Hoke County, North Carolina warrants. Locklear was placed under arrest for 1 count of Voluntary Manslaughter and 1 count of Felony Death by Vehicle. Sheriff Patrick Cannon attributes this arrest to a good display of communication and cooperation between the Dade County Sheriff’s Office and the Trenton Police Department.
