My name is Barton Harris and I wish to announce my candidacy for the position of Mayor for the City of Trenton.
I moved to Trenton in 1994 with my wife Rena’ and two children Matthew and Courtlyn Harris. I’ve served as street commissioner for the past four and one–half years and on the planning commission for five in the city of Trenton.
I attend Trenton First Baptist Church and have been employed at Roadtec in Chattanooga for more than 14 years.
It has been a pleasure and an honor serving my community as street commissioner. I’m elated at the opportunity to serve you, the people of Trenton, as your Mayor.
Service to God, country, and community I always consider a honor.
