Editor's note - Although the Opinion Blog was started with the noble intent of letting people have a place to publish their opinions on any range of topics, the staff of the Sentinel does not feel that it has been used effectively to that end. We have decided to cease offering the Opinion Blog because we do not feel it is reflective of the journalistic intent of this newspaper and no longer serves a viable, helpful function for the community.
